One Organizing Game Took 93% of the Ad Volume in a Crowded Genre

2026年11月3日 1点热度 0人点赞 0条评论

Eight cleaning and organizing games ran a combined 42,122 ads a day in the week of 2026-10-22 to 2026-10-28. One of them, Amaze GO!, ran 39,328 of them, which is 93% of the sample. The second-largest advertiser ran 2,094, about 5% of the leader, and the remaining six together accounted for roughly 700 ads a day. The genre has plenty of names and almost no spread: for entry planning, this is a one-operator market.

Why is the genre average useless here?

Because it is 5,265 ads a day and no member of the sample sits anywhere near it. The real distribution is one large, one mid, four small and one dormant: about forty thousand, about two thousand, four between nine and 220, and one at nine. Planning against the average understates the leader's production capacity and overstates how much of the middle is contestable.

How far behind is the second place?

Twenty times. Fill The Fridge! runs 2,094 ads a day against 39,328 for Amaze GO!. In de-stress puzzle genres the leader usually sits two to five times ahead of second place, so a twentyfold gap says something structural: the runner-up is not competing for the same inventory, it is working a narrower slot where its creative can still find room.

What are the small advertisers doing?

Three of the six cut spend, by between 28% and 70%. Rubbish Roundup went from 13 ads a day to 165, the only small account showing real movement. Cleaning ASMR Makeover went from zero to nine, which is still testing. The pattern across the small group is not scaling: it is testing, trimming and stopping.

Who are you actually competing with on entry?

Not the genre average, and not the second place. You are competing with one operator running close to forty thousand ads a day, and that sets three conditions. Creative output has to sustain a daily refresh cadence; the testing budget floor is set by the leader's testing volume rather than by your own plan; and the product needs an interaction that can be shown as a single object, because that is the visual language this genre buys. Miss any of the three and entry amounts to running a control group for the leader.

How stable was this concentration before this week?

Almost identical. In the prior week the same eight brands summed to 51,152 ads a day, with Amaze GO! at 47,024, or 92% of the sample, and the runner-up at 2,803. The concentration did not appear this week; it has been the shape of the sample across both windows. That matters for interpretation, because a one-week spike in share can be read as a temporary push, while a stable ninety-plus percent share across two weeks reads as the genre's actual structure.

What does the creative language require here?

An interaction that can be shown as a single object being manipulated. That is the visual grammar this genre buys, and it sets a product requirement rather than a marketing one: if the core loop cannot be reduced to one object and one gesture inside the first second, the genre's dominant creative format will not carry it. A team entering the space should test that reducibility before testing media, because the leader's advantage is built on a format the product either fits or does not.

How should a monitoring list be ordered?

Three steps. First, sort by daily ad volume and keep only the top three in the weekly report, sampling the rest. Second, read the leader through its new-ad count and creative type mix, and read the runner-up through which slot it is defending. Third, log only two events for the small accounts, a start and a stop, and ignore their week-to-week noise.

Two cautions. Do not confuse the number of products in a genre with how distributed its spending is. And do not use the eight-brand average to size a budget.

When would this concentration change?

When the leader holds under 30,000 ads a day for two consecutive weeks, or when the runner-up holds above 5,000 for two weeks. Until one of those happens, any claim that competition is intensifying in this genre is not supported by the data. Use this pattern to guide monitoring, not to judge campaign efficiency.
